The Bilingual Education Program is available to students at three schools in the District. The Bilingual Education Program is a strong academic program that focuses on development of literacy in two languages (English and Spanish). Native English speakers and non-native English speakers participate and are integrated in the same classroom.
- La Casita Elementary – All students at participate in the Bilingual Education Program
- Lockwood Elementary – A Bilingual Learning Program is available within a traditional elementary environment
- Marshall Middle School – A Bilingual Learning Program is available within a traditional middle school environment
If you live out-of-zone and are interested in your child being considered for the Bilingual Program at La Casita or Lockwood elementary schools, or at Marshall Middle School, please fill out the Bilingual Questionnaire. Both a Bilingual Questionnaire AND a School Zone Transfer Request must be submitted for consideration into a Bilingual Education Program.
