| Goals and Objectives The administrators and supervisors of the Clovis Schools will be vigorous leaders and spokesmen for the improvement of education. They will be granted and must accept wide degrees of professional autonomy and roles of leadership in the evaluation and improvement of instruction. The administrative process is a means to educational ends, and, accordingly, the reasons for its existence and the measures of its worth will be found in the degree to which it helps to bring the combined powers of individual segments to bear upon the task of successfully operating the total educational program. Personnel accounting and property management functions will be considered subordinate to teaching and learning. School System policies and adequate physical and personnel resources will be provided to facilitate the work of administrators and supervisors to enable them to perform their duties impartially and free from unreasonable pressures. The administrators will accept prominent roles as developers of education policy as it relates to individual schools. A high degree of cooperation and coordination will be maintained among the various schools in the system. |
