We request that parents become involved and be a part of our school.  Teachers have many opportunities for parents to volunteer in their individual classrooms.  Below are several opportunities for school level volunteering. 

PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC)
The PAC is chosen by the principal and will advise on matters pertaining to special programs, needs assessment and other pertinent functions of the school. This committee acts as the voice of the schools parents. The chairperson and principal will also serve on a District level PAC composed of representatives from all schools in the district. The PAC is composed of 5-7 members.

ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
The Enrichment Program is a wonderful volunteering opportunity. Volunteers work one-on-one with students who are in need of extra help.  This is done Monday through Friday for 30 minute increments.  You can stay from 30 minutes to 2 hours any day or all days!

POPCORN PICKLE SALES
On Fridays we sell popcorn and pickles at lunch. This usually takes about 2 hours a Friday.  You can help one Friday or all Fridays!

CARNIVAL
In October we have our annual school carnival.  We encourage parents to assist with booths in classrooms.

FIELD-DAY
At the end of May we have our annual field day. All classes and students spend the day outside participating in track and field events.  It is a great time for all!  Parents can assist us with running the individual events.

BOOKFAIR
We conduct two book fairs per year, one in the spring and one in the fall.  This event is operated primarily by parents.  You can sign up for what ever time you can spare during that week.
