This will be my seventeenth year teaching Kindergarten at Cameo Elementary. Five and six year old children are my favorite people in the world. I enjoy watching children make connections and learning about the world around them. I use a variety of brain friendly techniques and strategies to reach every student in the way they learn best. Parents are always wlcome in our classroom - but we might put you to work.

What You Can Do to Help

Please set aside 20 minutes every day to read to your child, and let them see you reading as much as possible. Children of readers become readers! Please check your child’s backpack/folder every day and have your child tell you about the work you will find there. Please make sure your child is in the classroom on time and prepared to learn.

Our Schedule

Specials will be on a rotating basis and include Art, Music, PE, and Library Time Discovery is a free choice exploration time. Necessary interventions will take place during Computer Lab and Discovery times.
