Hello,
My name is Kyle Harris and I teach 4th grade at Cameo Elementary. I am looking forward to meeting each and every student who is in my upcoming class. We are going to have a great year. I love to have fun and I am also a life long learner. I will incorporate these two things to make a classroom full of learning and fun. I love to challenge my students to reach for higher goals and levels of learning. I do many things to minimize down time in my class so engaged learning time is maximized. I also believe every person is unique and special therefore I understand that we all learn differently and in many different ways. I use numerous teaching styles to engage all of my students. I will provide a healthy and safe working and learning environment. Thank you, and I am sure we will all have a great year.

 Homework will be given on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Three days a week is not too bad is it?
- My discipline policy is pretty simple. Basically, I have the three strikes and you are out policy. I will always give a warning to begin with. This is kind of like a freebee. The second offense will result in the loss of recess. The third offense will result in the loss of recess and a call home to parents or guardians. The fourth offense will result in a visit to the principal’s office.
- I believe that small groups are a vital aspect of learning in the classroom. We will be participating in small groups daily. I will also be coordinating with Mrs. Spinks (our other 4th grade teacher) to collaborate our efforts.
