I’m Junea Hickman, although on the Web, I will be listed as Reva. I have been teaching for 16 years. This is my fourth year at Cameo. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education from Eastern New Mexico University. I have an Administrative License from Highlands University. I live on a ranch, homesteaded by my great grandparents, with my husband Gary and my son. I have two married daughters and four grandchildren. Philosophy of Education:

My philosophy of education is to instill the love of learning in
students. Learning is a lifelong process. I learn something different everyday. I believe students learn in an active, collaborative environment where it is okay to make mistakes as long as learning is taking place. Parents are welcome in the classroom anytime.

2:50-3:00:	Prep for home

Discipline: My expectations for students are to behave in a safe, responsible, respectful manner. All students have a right to learn, be safe and to be respected. I have the right to teach and to be respected. Parents a behavior sheet and a schedule of the next weeks activities will go home with your student every Friday. The bottom portion of the paper needs to be signed and returned.

Consequences: Students not behaving in a safe, responsible, and respectful manner will receive one check. After three checks, a phone call to the parent and detention with the teacher will occur. If the behavior continues, check the handbook for further discipline consequences.
