Hello and welcome to Cameo.  I am in my 16th year of teaching in the Clovis School District.  I am looking forward to working with you to make this a great and successful for your child.  In my classroom I work closely with my assistant, Geri Acosta.  My goal is to ensure that each student leaves my classroom with the foundation needed to become life long learners. 

What You Can Do to Help

Please set aside 20 minutes every day to read to your child, and let them see you reading as much as possible.  Children of readers become readers!  Reading folders will go home Monday – Thursday and student work and Cameo Information letters will go home on Thursday’s. in their Thursday Folder.

9:45 Specials
10:15 Writing
11:00 Lunch
11:25 Recess
11:50 Rest Time
12:30 Math
1:25 Computers
2:05 Centers
2:30 Discovery

appleSpecials will be on a rotating basis and include Art, Music, and PE. Library is on Monday’s at 8:30 a.m.

Discovery is a free choice exploration time.  Necessary interventions will take place during Computer Lab and Discovery times.
