 Hi,
My name is Shawn Pelfrey. I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1995. Teaching students is my livelihood and I love to see them grow and prosper through the years. This is my third year teaching 6th grade at Cameo Elementary School. Prior to moving to Clovis I taught 1st and 5th grade in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I have three wonderful children; Kayley, Elliott, and Tanner.

Homework:
 Students are expected to read 20 minutes every night. Reading practice is an important aspect of their education. Reading will take them places!
Discipline:
I expect all students to follow the Triple A Way:
- Always respectful
- Always responsible
- Always safe
As sixth graders, I expect students to follow these rules.

Parents are always welcome to drop by and visit my classroom. Parent involvement in your child’s education is vital in the success of your student. Please look for information about School Advisory Committee meetings, family nights, and ways to get involved at Cameo in our newsletter and on the monthly calendar.
