Webmail
Hello Everyone hope you are having a great summer.
The Clovis Municipal School District recently sent out an email all about the new email services we purchased. The name of the new email system is FirstClass. The Technology Department is now ready to integrate FirstClass into the district. The process will occur during most of the week June 8, 2009 (this week).
FirstClass has a client you can download to check your email. You may also check your email via an internet browser. You may use internet explorer for windows, safari for mac, or firefox for both mac and windows. Both the client download and access to email accounts are available through the following website www.clovis-schools.org.
You will notice that there are now 3 options to check your email through
www.clovis-schools.org. You will still be able to check past email from the old squirrel mail system, but any new mail you receive will be forwarded to your FirstClass email account via and alias which has been tagged on the new email system. Also you may check any email you have downloaded to your computer through entourage please remember you will not receive new email on your entourage you will have to use the FirstClass email system.
Once you open the client you will notice an arrow next to advanced click it in the Address field type cmsmail.clovis-schools.org then hit the tab button. Then you may login. Note that everyone has to type their full name with a period between the first and last name. For example Billy.Bill then enter the default password (changeme) when you login for the first time you will be asked to
create one later. Enjoy!
Thank you,
Network Operations
