Welcome to Choices
Choices exists to provide an alternative setting to the traditional high school for students who will benefit from a school community that promotes a mood of belonging, individualized scheduling, and creative instruction. Instructional planning follows the New Mexico standards and benchmarks; students must earn the full complement of credits along with passing appointed state-based testing to earn a CMS Diploma.

From creative instructional strategies and individualized scheduling (as needed) we will help students find the right fit as they pursue their education. Credit recovery is a key reason students attend Choices. Students who need specialized scheduling such as night school or a combination of day and night school usually choose Choices as well. Students may be recommended to Choices for disciplinary grounds.

Those who would like to attend Choices generally do so by self-referral or with recommendation by a Clovis High School administrator. Either way, students are accepted on a space-available basis. Choices students arrive at Choices in several ways, but they leave in only one way –successfully!
