Welcome Parents
The Clovis High School Freshman Campus is off to a great start. The teams are working diligently to ensure that all students are successful in every area of their educational experience. This issue of CHSFC To Home would like to introduce you to the teams as well as other individuals you may want to know who play an intricate part in your child’s education.
CHSFC encourages parents to become involved in their child’s education and welcomes you to the campus anytime.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society at the Freshman Campus is proud to boast approximately one hundred ten members! These awesome students are not only outstanding students on our campus, but in the community as well.
To qualify for membership in NJHS students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for three consecutive nine-week periods to be inducted into this stellar organization and then maintain it in the future.
Honor Society members are required by national rules to perform two hours of community service per month. Most students at the CHSFC aid this community with many more volunteer hours.
The students will be working hard all year selling snacks at concession stands at CHS Freshman Campus sporting events. The money from these fundraisers will be used to buy NJHS shirts and to help defray the costs of a spring field trip. The students are just beginning to plan this fabulous, fun trip!
If you see an Honor Society member, please commend them for their academic achievement and selfless commitment to the community!
