| Dual Credit Opportunities |
Students wishing to enroll in concurrent enrollment/dual credit classes at Clovis Community College (CCC) must have prior approval from guidance. A 2.5 cumulative GPA is mandatory to enroll at CCC. Clovis High School, in partnership with CCC, offers several dual credit classes. Students earn high school and college credit. Some of the courses are offered at CHS while others are housed at CCC. For more information, have your student visit with his/her guidance counselor
CHS Dual Credit Rules
- Student must
- Have a 2.5 GPA
- Meet CCC course placement requirements
- Have approval from your counselor
and parents
- Attend CCC classes according to the CCC calendar
- Follow all CCC rules regarding grading, attendance, and withdrawals
- Summer dual credit classes are allowed.
- CCC grade appears on CHS transcript
- No financial aid for high school students
- If student withdraws from all dual credit classes or fails, student must wait one year
before enrolling in dual credit classes again
- HPE courses eligible only if you need High
School PE credit
Freshmen may take one dual credit class

Dual Credit Benefits

School and Clovis Community College

on the Clovis Community College campus or
online
- Clovis High School provides the books;
Clovis Community College waives tuition;
Students pay only course fees
