Grading Procedures

Dear parents/guardians:

The administration and faculty of the Clovis High School Freshman Campus have developed and implemented new grading procedures in order to help students become more responsible for missing work.

Students will not receive full credit for late assignments.  The highest percentage afforded for late work will be 70%.  Additionally, students will receive zero credit for assignments submitted after the cut off dates, which are listed below:

Oct. 17:  

 Start of 2nd 9 weeks
Nov. 5:   

Grade cut off date for three weeks progress report. 

Nov. 6:   

 School wide progress report sent home by every teacher
Nov. 19:

Grade cut off date for five weeks progress report.
Nov. 21: District Progress report sent home through 2nd period.
Dec. 17-19:  Short Cycle Assessments
Dec. 19:

Grade cut off date and end of 2nd 9 weeks. 

Jan. 7: Start of 3rd 9 weeks
Jan. 9: Report Cards distributed through 2nd period.
Jan. 22:

Grade cut off date for three weeks progress report.
Jan. 23: School wide progress reports sent home by every teacher.
Feb. 10: 

Grade cut off date for five weeks progress report.
Feb. 13:  District progress report sent home through 2nd period.
March 4-6:  Short Cycle Assessments
March 11: 

Grade cut off date and end of 3rd 9 weeks.
March 12: Start of 4th 9 weeks
March 31: Report Cards distributed through 2nd period.
April 7: 

Grade cut off date for three weeks progress report.
April 8: School wide progress report sent home by every teacher
April 24:

Grade cut off date for five weeks progress report.
April 28: District progress report sent home through 2nd period.
May 20-22:   Short Cycle Assessments
May 22: 

Grade cut off date and end of 4th 9 weeks.
June 1: Report Cards mailed or picked up
