Announcements will be at the beginning of 3rd period.
Early Lunch Release/Study Hall
Qualifications:
Students who have a C average or above in EVERY class will receive twenty extra minutes for lunch. Students with a D or F in any class are required to stay in their third period class for a twenty minute Study Hall. the grades will be reviewed when grades are posted at the end of each nine weeks. Students can lose the long lunch period as deemed necessary by the administration for the following reasons (this list is not all inclusive):
- D or F in any class at the end of any nine week grading period
- Excessive tardies or absences in any class
- Tardiness to 4th period
- Discipline Referrals
- Truancy
Late Start
Please listen to your radio stations on bad weather days. Announcements concerning school starting times will be made by 6:30 a.m. In the event of a late starting time, students will report to their 1st period class.
Early Dismissal
On very few occasions will weather worsen enough during the school day to cause an early dismissal. Should that situation develop, every effort will be made to make public announcements prior to early dismissal. Parents who will be out of town or unavailable for the day should be sure that their students will know how to get in contact with them in case it becomes necessary for early dismissal.
