Get your work completed on time!!
Classwork and homework are MUST DO’s!!!

It is important for all classwork and homework to be completed on a daily basis.  The following procedures will be followed if students do not complete classwork and/or homework.

If a student does not bring in his/her homework or does not complete his/her class assignment, he/she will be assigned to CATS at the earliest opportunity to complete the work.

• Students will receive 75% of the grade earned for the assignment.

• CATS is not punitive.  As stated above, the objective is that the student will do the work.  Therefore, when a student completes the work, he/she is released from CATS after the supervisor “spot checks” the assignment.

• The CATS team will consist of teachers, counselors and administrators.

• CATS is held in room G4.

• Students will be provided lunch in the tutorial classroom.  The cost of the lunch will be charged to the student’s account.

Students can get extra assistance by:

• making an appointment to meet with the teacher before or after school, during study hall or lunch.    
  
  * attending the Student Success Center in the CHS Library Monday thru Thursday 3:30-5:30.
  
  * attending tutoring sessions at Lincoln-Jackson Family Center ( 206 Alphon, 769-4460).
  
  
• obtaining a tutor through the Guidance Office (see grade level counselor).
