Beginning in 2018-2019 Barry Elementary no longer qualifies for the CEP Lunch Program. An application is required for Free or Reduced lunch.
If your student attends one of the above CEP schools and you also have a student at Barry, Mesa, Zia, Gattis, or Clovis High School, an application is required for the Free or Reduced category for a no cost lunch.
Studies have shown that children who are not hungry perform better in school. By providing breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students.
In addition, the program that started during the previous school year where Student Nutrition absorbed the cost for families that qualified for “reduced” ($.30/breakfast, $.40/lunch) meals will continue for the new school year. If a student had an existing balance at the end of the last school year, a parent/guardian will be responsible for outstanding balance, plus an application will be required. The program will cover lunch with an approved application at:
- Barry Elementary
- Mesa Elementary
- Zia Elementary
- Gattis Middle School
- Clovis High School
******** Student Nutrition will continue to offer FREE BREAKFAST to all students! *******
