A 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, tax-exempt, philanthropic organization of citizens, The CMS Foundation shares a vision of enhancing education in the Clovis Municipal School District, directing its efforts through an Alumni Association, Scholarships, Grants and The Young Masters, an annual juried student Art show.
The CMS Alumni Association is an all-class, all-year Alumni Association for Clovis Municipal Schools under the auspices of the CMS Foundation. Activities include a distinguished alumni program, an Alumni Hall of Honor located at Clovis High School and a Hall of Honor Banquet
The CMS Foundation awards annual scholarships to Clovis High School Seniors. In 2013, CHS seniors Abigail Tyson and Marshall Winn were the recipients of $10,000 in scholarship awards.
The mission of the Clovis Municipal Schools Foundation is to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and enhance opportunities for all students enrolled in the Clovis Municipal Schools district, as demonstrated through the granting of more than $111,000 to CMS classrooms and programs since 2007.
Showcasing the talents of aspiring artists in grades 9-12, the annual Young Masters Juried Art Exhibit is presented by the Clovis Municipal Schools Foundation.
