MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
"We received a grant to provide us with better technology in the classroom. Technology is essential and ever changing. For students to be able to compete in our global society, we must be able to continue to provide the most up to date and useful tools available." - Karri Hatley, Barry Elementary School        "The CMS Foundation Grant has allowed all Clovis middle school students in the last 3 years who are struggling in mathematics and/or science to be a part of a fantastic interactive summer camp that lights their passion for learning in these difficult subject areas. Kudos to the foundation!" - Mandy Carpenter, Principal-Parkview Elementary        "A CMS Foundation grant gave my students an opportunity to step out of the classroom and observe nature at its best, in nature. Students were then able to transfer what they had learned about prairie dogs in their natural habitat to classroom reading and research activities. To this day, I still have former students comment on this venture." - Carrie Geisler, Grade 5, Parkview Elementary        "I have been very blessed to receive a grant on behalf of students. My students would not have been able to create digital portfolios and archive their work without the grant we received for the USB drives. I appreciate all of the work the Foundation does to enrich classrooms in our district!!!" - Rene' Hedemann, Instructional Coach, Arts Academy at Bella Vista and Parkview Elementary        "Thank you Clovis Education Foundation for supporting early identification of hearing loss for Clovis children by awarding grant money to help purchase Audiology test equipment. Because of this equipment, parents can receive comprehensive Audiology care right here at CMS instead of driving out of town for similar services." - Rachel Lingnau, Doctor of Audiology        Thanks to funding provided by the CMS Grant Foundation we were able to purchase a cart of 30 NEO2’s for our 2nd grade students. The use of NEO2's has really inspired and motivated my students to read and write. I am excited to see their continued growth in reading, writing and math this year. -Kathryn Gonzales 2nd Grade Mesa Elementary        "I have been very blessed to receive a grant on behalf of students.
