Welcome Parents and Students:

I would like to welcome all returning and new students as well as their parents, grandparents, guardians, and caregivers to Highland Elementary School.

It is my pleasure and honor to serve you as principal at Highland. I am looking forward to serving all returning students and meeting all of our new students and their families.

We at Highland will continue with the great educational programs in place and will continue to excel to new levels as the school year progresses.

On August 15, 2007, Highland Elementary will continue “Breakfast in the Classroom” which will allow all children and assigned staff at Highland to receive free breakfast. All lunch forms will need to be returned to Highland on or before August 23, 2007. We will send forms until we reach 100% return rate.

In the morning all children will go to their classrooms when the bell rings and eat breakfast in the classroom at 7:40 a.m. The menu will be the same on the school menu, unless otherwise determined.

Please be assured that you will be welcomed at Highland Elementary as an important part of our school family.

Highland staff members as well as myself are eagerly awaiting to see everyone. Again, WELCOME EVERYONE!
