Dear iAcademy Families,
My name is Petie Davis and I am excited to introduce myself as the principal of CMS iAcademy @ Lincoln Jackson. I am honored to have been selected to join the rank of principals in the Clovis Municipal School District, which is known far and wide for its dedication to excellence, but more importantly, to children. Over the past 19 years, I have worked as a teacher in this district, but I consider my most important job to be that of taking care of children.
The staff and I will spend a lot of time with your student, getting to know individual personalities, learning styles and interests. We will celebrate successes, small and large. We will encourage students every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place in our school community. Not only are we excited to begin working with your student, but we look forward to the work we will do together. As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” We are excited to see your child through your eyes. We cannot wait to share with you the great things they do throughout their days here at iAcademy. And of course, we will be here to work with you should there be a need for help navigating any aspect of the school day.
Our goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe, so they may learn as much as they can. We want to challenge your student academically, and we want all students to know that we care about them not only inside the doors of iAcademy, but outside the doors, as well. The entire staff and I will work tirelessly to ensure all children have the best possible experiences at iAcademy. Once again, I am thankful to have the opportunity to introduce iAcademy and the new learning experiences it has to offer to our wonderful community. I look forward to getting to know you and your student. We have been working most days this summer to ensure a smooth opening. There will of course be some things that come up that we need to fine tune, but know that, as these things come up, we will work diligently to improve them.
I look forward to talking you soon.
