Class Structure

Thematic Units. At Los Niños, we teach using a different theme each month! We started the school year with the theme, All About Me: Family, Friends and Pets. In October, our theme is Fall and Pumpkins.

~Each teacher presents the theme in her own unique way! Please visit with your child’s teacher for more information about our theme. We always welcome ideas and parent suggestions.

~For a list of the year’s themes, please see your child’s teacher.

Testing. Teachers and therapists test the children in many areas! Please see your child’s teacher if you have questions about these tests.

Home Work. Teachers give home work to help families spend time together and talk about what the children are learning and discovering at school! Research shows that children make better progress with development when they practice what they learn with you at home.
