Parents and Students: Sandia is a fantastic elementary school with a rich tradition of academic excellence. Our school has helped establish the foundation of life long learning for a great number of citizens of Clovis. I am looking forward to the upcoming year with great anticipation. First and foremost, I am an advocate for children. My experiences in education include graduating from Clovis High School, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master of Education from Eastern New Mexico University. I taught at Parkview and Cameo Elementary schools, and was the district coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (also known as the After School Program), most recently I have been an assistant principal at Lockwood and Cameo Elementary Schools. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you here at Sandia. I believe in high academic and behavioral expectations, all built upon the pillars of character. I assure you that with proper communication and cooperation this can be your child's best year in school. Sandia has wonderful opportunities for volunteers.
