Each student should be given the opportunity to develop and achieve his or her potential, being limited only by individual differences. Therefore, the division will foster an educational environment that strives to provide equal educational opportunities for all students.
Educational Programs and services will be designed to meet the varying needs of all students and will not discriminate against any individual for reasons of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, economic status, or disability.
Further, no student will, on the basis sex, be excluded from participating in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity conducted by the division. The school division will treat its students without discrimination of the basis of sex in course offerings, athletics, counseling, employment assistance, and extracurricular activities.
