Welcome
to Zia Elementary!
I am delighted to be the principal of this great school! Before coming
to Zia, I was the principal of Lockwood Elementary School here in
Clovis for 10 years. Prior to that, I taught for 10 years and worked
in Clovis, Las Cruces, Albuquerque, and Coppell, Texas. These diverse
experiences helped prepare me for working with the students, parents,
and staff of Zia. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education
from New Mexico State University and a Masters Degree in Education
Administration from the University of New Mexico. I believe that each
child is a gift, and it is up to all of us to do whatever it takes
to meet the needs of the child. I am blessed to work with a tremendous
staff and interested, involved parents to reach this goal. |
