Ms. Russ is a veteran educator with 27 years of experience in public education. Renee has served as the Clovis Schools' Deputy Director of Federal Programs since October 2016, Director of Human Resources (2015 - 2016), Director of Instruction (2012 - 2013), and principal of Ranchvale Elementary School (2011 - 2012 & 2013 - 2015). Prior to coming to Clovis, Ms. Russ has served as a teacher, principal, Curriculum and Learning Coordinator/Director of Federal and Bilingual Programs, and Dean of Instruction/Instructional Coach.

The success of our District is reflected in our collective ability to meet the needs of all students and prepare them to productively engage and find satisfaction in their lives beyond school. Those making the greatest impact for students are our campus teachers, staff, and administrators. Central Office leaders must have servant mindsets and must be relentless in cultivating a culture that inspires commitment to the vision and mission of the District and that creates the necessary conditions for teachers to successfully carry out their work.
