July 24, 2014: Members of the Clovis Municipal Schools’ Wildcat Football Booster Club can purchase reserved seats for $50 per seat; this is a discount from the full price cost of $60 per seat.

Universal School Lunch and Breakfast Program for the 2014-2015 school year

July 10, 2014: Fourteen schools in the Clovis Municipal School District will participate in a Universal School Breakfast and Lunch Program during the 2014-2015 school year. If a child(ren) attends one of these schools, breakfast and lunch will be available at no charge. Additionally, a Free and Reduced Meal Application will not be required.

Breakfast is served free of charge to all students at all schools in the district.

CLOVIS HIGH SCHOOL 2014 VARSITY FOOTBALL SEASON RESERVED SEAT TICKETS GO ON SALE

July 8, 2014: Reserved seat tickets for the 2014 Wildcat Football season will go on sale Monday, July 14th. Tickets may be purchased and picked up at the Clovis High School (CHS) Athletic Office, 1900 Thornton Street, or Tankersley’s, 306 Main Street.

CLOVIS MUNICIPAL SCHOOLS’ EARLY RELEASE WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE DISCONTINUED BEGINNING IN AUGUST

June 25, 2014: In the 2005-2006 school year Clovis Municipal Schools implemented the Wednesday early release schedule to give teachers the opportunity for professional development. After careful consideration it has been decided that the District’s elementary schools will return to five full days of school each week and will no longer be released at 12:45 PM on Wednesdays.

Summer Reading Program

May 9, 2014: Since reading is the most important skill that a student can have, and we know that many students regress in their reading skills over the summer, Clovis Municipal Schools is launching its 2014 Summer Reading Program for students in grades Pre‐K through 8th to encourage students to read throughout the summer.

Students can bring completed reading logs to the Clovis Municipals Schools’ Administration Office for a summer treat (while supplies last) donated by local businesses. For information and to download Reading Logs, click "Learn More."

CLOVIS MUNICIPAL SCHOOLS Offer July Challenge Exams

April 28, 2014:  Clovis Municipal Schools will be administering three Challenge Exams in July 2014 for any student who believes he/she can demonstrate proficiency in the essential knowledge and skills defined for the courses. There will be a $25 non-refundable fee per exam. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2014.
