CLOVIS BASSMASTERS HIGH AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS TAKE FIRST IN SECOND STATE QUALIFIER!

Sunday, Clovis Bassmasters, an affiliate club of New Mexico Bass Nation, took to Ute Lake for their second state qualifier and finished with first-place wins in the High and Junior High School divisions.

In the High School Division, Autumn Kinglsey and Nicole Patton took first place along with bringing in the biggest bass in their division.

Gregorio Cordova and Colter Williams completed with third-place finishes in the High School Division.

In the Junior High School Division, Brayden Spears and Logan Shafer finished with the win, bringing in the biggest bass of the entire tournament. Noah Baker and Colton White took second. 

The competition was the second state qualifier for the Club.

The Club will be returning to Ute Lake on Sunday, August 27, for the state tournament. Weigh-in will begin at 12:00 pm noon at the marina.

Clovis Bassmasters is the largest High School and Junior Club in the state. If anyone is interested in volunteering (especially in need of boat captains (must have their own boat).
