Clovis High School Freshman Academy students Ady Briscoe and Maddie Casey are part of a group of ninth graders who work with students at Cameo Elementary to help them with their math and reading.
Guided by Freshman Academy teachers Brian Pickard and Kelli Reed, the girls and their classmates walk to the nearby elementary school on a regular basis and spend time helping younger students, through their participation in the Teacher’s Academy and National Junior Honor Society.
