Clovis, NM – Barry STEAM Academy has been named the 2025 New Mexico Excellence in STEM Award (STEMY) winner in the School category, highlighting the academy’s outstanding work in advancing science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education.
Presented by the Air Force Research Lab Tech Engagement Office and Q Station, the STEMYS celebrate individuals and organizations across New Mexico who are making a meaningful impact in STEM education. Barry STEAM Academy was selected for its innovative approach to hands-on learning, commitment to student engagement, and strong community partnerships.
Award recipients will be honored during a ceremony on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Q Station in Albuquerque. Select winners will also receive a $1,500 award. The event is sponsored by the City of Albuquerque Economic Development Department.
