Clovis, NM — September 11, 2025 — Clovis Municipal Schools (CMS) is proud to highlight its ongoing partnership with Professional Therapy Partners (PTP), owner of the Physical Therapy Center on North Prince St. in Clovis. Since January 2025, PTP has provided athletic training services to the district, ensuring the health and safety of student-athletes both on and off the field.

Through this partnership, baseline and post-injury concussion testing was introduced in August 2025 for all student-athletes, including members of the band color guard. This fall, PTP athletic trainers will provide coverage at all home and away varsity football games. Moreover, beginning in October 2025, CMS will become the pilot site for PTP’s innovative AT Clinic Now telehealth athletic training service.

Through this first-of-its-kind program, veteran athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist Alicia Holen, MS, ATC, CSCS will dedicate 20 hours per week to supporting CMS athletes remotely from her home in Montana. Using the WaveOn Health platform, Alicia will be accessible to students through secure chat, live video, and phone consultations, and will prescribe rehabilitation exercises from a digital library of more than 4,800 routines. Meanwhile, PTP is conducting a national search for a full-time athletic trainer who will soon join Alicia in supporting the Wildcats on campus.
