Clovis, N.M. — Clovis Municipal Schools is celebrating statewide recognition for both Clovis High School and iAcademy following the release of the New Mexico Public Education Department’s Cohort 2025 graduation rates.

Clovis High School has been named one of the Top 10 high schools in New Mexico for graduation rate growth among schools with 300 students or more, earning the No. 10 spot statewide. The school achieved a 4.81 percentage-point increase in its four-year graduation rate, with an overall graduation rate of 81.31 percent.

In addition, iAcademy earned a place among the Top 10 schools in the state for graduation rate growth among schools with 20 students or more, posting an impressive 23.40 percentage-point increase in its four-year graduation rate. The four-year graduation rate for iAcademy is 93.6 percent.

These recognitions reflect the district’s intentional focus on student success and strong systems of support.

Statewide, Cohort 2025 reached a four-year graduation rate of 80.6 percent, representing a 2.4 percentage-point increase from the previous year and the highest graduation rate in the past decade. Clovis Municipal Schools has achieved a district-wide four-year graduation rate of 81.57 percent, exceeding the state average.

“This achievement speaks to the dedication of our students, families, educators and staff across Clovis Municipal Schools,” said Superintendent Russ. “Whether at Clovis High School or iAcademy, our teams are committed to ensuring every student has a clear path to graduation and a strong plan for life after high school.”

According to the PED memorandum, key strategies driving graduation growth across the state include close monitoring of course completion and credit accumulation, strategic school improvement planning, intentional implementation of students’ Next-Step Plans and focused re-engagement efforts for students needing additional support.

Clovis Municipal Schools has prioritized these same practices by strengthening academic tracking systems, expanding individualized support, and reinforcing meaningful college and career planning opportunities for students.
