Clovis, NM - Clovis Municipal Schools has named Mindy Sena as the district’s Title IX Director, effective immediately.
Sena brings extensive experience in student services, counseling, and investigative practices, with a strong background in supporting student well-being and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. She currently serves as the district’s Incident Investigator, where she is responsible for reviewing and investigating concerns involving students, staff, and families, including matters related to harassment, bullying, and Title IX.
In this role, Sena has conducted interviews, gathered and analyzed evidence, maintained detailed case documentation, and prepared formal reports with findings and recommendations. Her work has consistently supported fair, thorough, and timely resolutions aligned with district policy and legal requirements.
Sena’s professional background also includes serving as a school counselor at both the high school and middle school level, where she supported students in academic planning, mental health, and postsecondary readiness. In addition, she has experience as a forensic interviewer, a licensed clinical social worker, and an educator, giving her a well-rounded perspective on student support systems and compliance processes.
She holds a Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University and maintains multiple professional licenses, including administrative, counseling, social work, and teaching credentials.
As Title IX Director, Sena will oversee the district’s efforts to ensure compliance with federal Title IX regulations, support equitable learning environments, and address concerns related to discrimination and harassment.
