Clovis, NM - The Clovis High School eSports team recently competed at the NMAA eSports State Championship, earning top finishes against strong competition from across the state.
The Varsity Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team secured a silver medal in the 5A division. Team members include Roberto Badillo, senior and team captain; Justin Bonney, senior; Broady Foote, junior; and alternate Seth Eugene, junior.
In individual competition, sophomore Jesse Metzger earned a bronze medal in the 5A division for Madden. Competing in his first year of eSports, Metzger’s performance highlights both his talent and dedication to the program.
Clovis Municipal Schools congratulates these student competitors on their outstanding achievements and representation of Clovis High School at the state level.
