Clovis, NM - On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Clovis High School Women’s Select Choir traveled to Euless, Texas, to compete in the Lone Star Classic Music Festival. The ensemble delivered an outstanding performance, earning superior ratings from all adjudicators.
Following the competition, the choir was notified on Monday, April 27, that they had been awarded the prestigious “Best in Festival” honor, recognizing them as the top-performing ensemble across the entire two-day event.
This recognition caps an extraordinary year for the Women’s Select Choir. Their continued commitment to excellence has resulted in a series of remarkable achievements, including earning Sweepstakes honors at the Music Performance Assessment and being named the 1-5A NMAA Treble Choir State Champions.
Their success at the Lone Star Classic further reflects the dedication, discipline, and musical artistry of these students.
