Barry STEAM Academy

At Barry STEAM Academy our fourth grade have been studying waves and how they create light and color. Learning about waves and the properties of light can be an exciting journey! At this age, students are naturally curious about the world around them, and understanding how waves and light work can help them see everyday phenomena-like rainbows, reflections, and shadows-in a whole new light. Waves are all around us, they are disturbances that move energy from one place to another. There are different types of waves, but in 4th grade, they focus on two types. Understanding waves and light help us connect with the world around us. They got to see some science in action by displaying their work on what they learned!!
