Enrollment in Clovis Municipal Schools
Clovis Municipal Schools conducts all enrollment online using Skyward. Scroll down for more information on how to enroll your student.
Preschool and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will open Wednesday, April 17, 2024!
***NOTE: APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED PRIOR TO APRIL 17, 2024, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
FAMILIES WHO ENROLL PREMATURELY WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL DENYING THE APPLICATION, AND WILL HAVE TO RE-ENROLL AFTER THE ENROLLMENT WINDOW OFFICIALLY OPENS APRIL 17, 2024.***
Elementary thru Secondary
Students are assigned to schools based on geographic location of their legal guardian's residence. New students to Clovis register at these respective schools.
Elementary and middle school students may be granted zone exceptions if the receiving school has sufficient room.
Requirements
To enroll a new student, please bring:
Proof of residence (utility bill or rental agreement)
Up-to-date immunization records
Social security card
Birth certificate
Kindergarten
Kindergarten classes are held in full-day sessions.
Children who are five (5) years of age before 12:01 AM, September 1 must enroll in kindergarten for that school year.
School Zones
**Notice: Elementary school zones are currently under review by the Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education, with revisions pending consideration at its regular meeting scheduled for April 23, 2024. For more information, visit: 2024-2029 Facilities Master Plan
Parents & guardians must enroll students online. Assistance is available at each school for those who have limited computer access or need further assistance.

Dual Language Programs
Clovis Municipal Schools is proud to offer dual-language programs that provide students with a unique opportunity to learn both English and Spanish. These programs are available at several schools throughout the district. By participating in these programs, students are able to develop their language skills in both English and Spanish, while also gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for different cultures.
Our district is committed to providing a high-quality education for all students, and our dual-language programs are just one example of how we are working to achieve that goal.

Yucca Middle School
CHS Freshman Academy
Clovis High School.
If interested in your student being considered for the dual program at one of the above schools, please complete the Bilingual Questionnaire.
Both the Bilingual Questionnaire AND a School Zone Transfer Request must be submitted for consideration.
After the Bilingual Questionnaire is submitted, please Email Santi Gutierrez (santi.gutierrez@clovis-schools.org) for a School Zone Transfer Request form.
Reminder, if you need a Zone Transfer Request for a reason other than the dual language program, please request it from the CMS Central Office.
