I station celebration January 2025 cover

I station assembly single winners and pictures of speakers, and ensemble band. I station class winners

I Station is an online learning platform that uses games and animation to help students learn English Language Arts (ELA), English-Language Learning (ELL), and math. The students take their I Station test once a month, and Mrs. Hahn announces at our I Station Assembly who our winners are. That is determined by how much growth you make from month to month. The more you grow the higher your chance of winning the capes or the medals are. We have 3 class winners, one in 4th/5th, one in 2nd/3rd, and one in K/1st, then the whole class gets to wear the capes all month long!! We also have 2 individual winners who get medals, one for highest in Math, and for highest in Reading, out of the entire school.

The Individual Winners are......

In Math with 126 points of gains was Owen Stempfly!

In Reading with 177 points of gains was Mitchell Dougherty.

The Class Winners are.....

K/1 with gains of 32.7 points per student is...Mrs. Adams Class

2/3 with gains of 24 points per student is....Ms. Plascencia's Class

4/5 with gains of 26.1 points per student is...Mrs. Harris' Class

We also had a surprise performance by our very own Orff Ensemble band who have been working very hard during enrichment class. They not only have learned an instrument they probably not often play, but also memorized their music! Our surprise didn't stop there though, we also got to listen to our top 3 winners of the Amazing Shake give us their speech. This speech they had to come up with themselves on the spot for the judges.

It just goes to show us how amazing these kids are and how bright our future is with them becoming leaders so young! They work hard at everything that life throws at them! They are resilient and determined and it shows!!
