BRISENOS tug o war

A collage of three photos showing two groups of elementary aged students playing tug of war.

The Kindergarten have been learning about pushes and pulls in their PLTW (Project Lead The Way) lessons. Pushes and pulls are forces that move objects in different directions. A push moves an object away, while a pull brings it closer. These forces can be seen in everyday actions, like pushing a door open or pulling a wagon. The strength and direction of the force determine how the object moves.

Mrs. Brisenõ's class took their lesson outside and had some fun in a tug-o-war. They are the cutest, and strongest little 5-6 year olds!!! They were surprised at how hard it was to pull the other team over the line! What a fun way to learn something new!!
