AABV Fine Dining
Arts Academy at Bella Vista held their 1st nine weeks’ Fine Dining on October 10th. This is an event where students 2nd through 5th grade are honored for their academic efforts. They must meet the following criteria for the 1st nine weeks in order to receive an invite: 97% attendance, no missing assignments in any subject, only A’s and B’s in all subjects, and must not have any office referrals.  During the event, students were prompted with an etiquette video made by Ron Clark on what to do at the table during a meal. When students finished watching and discussing appropriate etiquette, they were then ushered into our dining hall where they were waited on by AABV educators dressed as waiters. The event was also live streamed for the rest of the school to see what they all have an opportunity to work towards. We were able to honor 60 students on October 10th and look forward to honoring even more students for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th nine weeks! We would also like to give a shout out to our food service workers who prepared a wonderful special meal for the students, we are grateful and it made the students feel so special.
