On Friday 8/23, Gattis participated in the Portales Volleyball Tournament. Gattis won their first game vs. Dexter in two sets. In the semi-final round Gattis lost to Melrose in two sets setting them up to play for 3rd and 4th place against Portales. After a close game, Gattis defeated Portales in the third set, winning 3rd place overall at this tournament. Great job Cubs!!
