National History Day

Gattis 7th and 8th grade Gifted and Talented students sat in a presentation Wednesday learning about National History Day.  Students learned what their projects could be and what the theme is for the year.  Students will have a chance to complete against Yucca Middle School GT students to earn the right to have their project presented at the state level. They could then go on to present their projects in Washington, D.C. in June. Students are also learning about Primary and Secondary Sources, learning how to make an annotated bibliography, and a project of their choice having to deal with Rights and Responsibilities.
