Gattis' Student Spotlight honorees for the week of September 2-6 were Meliya Cordova and Grayson Boerio. Both students are from the house of Altruismo. Students responded to the following questions as part of their spotlight:
Meliya
1. What’s your all-time favorite TV show? The Summer I Turned Pretty
2. What is your favorite sport or hobby and why? Dance – Because I’ve grown up with it and it’s always been my favorite thing to do.
3. If you could have dinner with any celebrity living or dead, who would you pick? Michael Jackson
4. What is one thing that makes you proud of yourself and why? Dance – how I’ve made officer this year and my dedication to dance and how I work hard to get better.
5. If you could pick any superpower, what would you pick and why? Teleportation – so I could go wherever and whenever I wanted.
6. What’s your favorite color? Blue
7. What’s your favorite animal? Polar Bear
Grayson
1. What’s your all-time favorite TV show? Duck Tales
2. What is your favorite sport or hobby and why? Drawing – because I’ve gotten good at it over the years and I really enjoy doing it.
3. If you could have dinner with any celebrity living or dead, who would you pick? Harrison Ford – I like his movies.
4. What is one thing that makes you proud of yourself and why? My Grades – I feel proud when my grades are good and I feel proud when my parents acknowledge it as well.
5. If you could pick any superpower, what would you pick and why? Flight – go anywhere in the world and it would be easier to get around.
