Teacher Kim Defoor works with a student to build a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows.During Gattis' monthly house assembly students were recognized for outstanding behavior and were given shirts for each of their individual houses. House team members then competed in a game of tug-of-war. To wrap up the assembly, students separated into their houses and took part in house activities. Altruismo students played basketball. Amistad students took part in a hula hoop challenge where they had to get in a line, hold hands and attempt to pass a hula hoop from one of the line to other and back. Isibindi played rock paper scissors and Reveur students competed against each other to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows.
