W.D. Gattis Middle School

Eighth graders at Gattis recently learned about energy in their science classes.  Students planned and constructed paper roller coasters to demonstrate potential energy transforming into kinetic energy.  Students were challenged to make a roller coaster so a marble could complete the track from start to finish and that included four thrills.  Students worked hard, were creative, and produced amazing roller coasters.
