Mens Choir students and teachers (group picture)

On November 4, the Clovis High School choir hosted the 2nd Annual CMS Men's Choir Day. Seventy-three men's choir students from 6th through 12th grade gathered together to enjoy a fun day of meeting and singing with other young men from our school district.

Mr. James Golden, CHSFA Choir Director, helped lead the young men in vocal exercises and fun rhythm games before jumping into music learning. This year our CMS Men's Choir will feature two selections, "Footloose" and "I Want It That Way", at the All-Choral Night performance that will take place May 6.

While taking a break from rehearsing, there were some fun team building activities that allowed all the young men to work together, no matter their age. This event was followed by the incredible HS cafeteria staff feeding some very hungry men. All our younger men got to experience a bit of the high school campus life.

Our Secondary Choral Department would like to thank all the administration from Marshall 6th Grade Academy, Gattis Middle School, Yucca Middle School, CHS Freshman Academy and Clovis High School for supporting our choir students and allowing this day to happen.
