On Friday February 14, 21 students from Clovis Municipal School District traveled to Santa Fe to celebrate African American Heritage day at the State Legislature. Students watched the NAACP hand out awards for black excellence in their communities and had the opportunity to see state senators and state representatives. Students also had the opportunity to sit in on the first Senate meeting of 2025.
