We are excited to inform you that GMS has been selected to pilot a trial week featuring scratch-cooked items during the week of April 28 to May 2. This initiative is part of our efforts to comply with Senate Bill 4 and enhance the quality of our meal offerings. Next school year, every campus will provide 50% or more scratch-cooked items for both breakfast and lunch.
We greatly appreciate your flexibility in allowing us to change the existing menu to test these new items and gather feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

As the weather warms up, we are seeing an increase in shorts that do not meet the guidelines in the student handbook; affected students will be asked to call home for a change of clothes this upcoming week.
As a friendly reminder, cell phones need to be turned off and placed in backpacks. Students are asked to use the Yondr pockets during the day. If a cell phone is discovered, the discipline matrix will be followed.
FCCLA is hosting a Parent Night Out on May 2nd from 5-8 PM for ages 3-11.
Camp Wildcat Summer Reading program is a great way to boost reading skills before fall with four hours of daily instruction in small groups, ensuring personalized attention. It’s FREE and a fun way to keep kids engaged throughout June! Register now through NMPED at literacy.nm.gov.
