After the scrimmage last week against Yucca and Portales, the Gattis coaching staff is proud to announce the team tied Portales and beat Yucca. With the tremendous effort from everyone, the team had two outstanding players that day who were chosen as "Player of the Week."
Connor Boney was named as the Offensive Player of the Week. He played as a left guard and stood out because of his outstanding blocking, for supporting his team, and for playing with class.
Ricky Fenstermaker was named as the Defensive Player of the Week. He had multiple tackles, picked up six interceptions, cheered on his teammates, and played with class.
