Our Focus for Student Success (90-Day Plan)
We’re concentrating on a few key areas to help every student grow:
ELA / History / Science / Electives – Practicing how to use evidence from texts to support ideas and claims, with regular modeling and close reading.
Math – Working on real-world problem-solving tasks tied to focus standards, emphasizing modeling, reasoning, and multi-step problem solving.
These priorities are part of our 90-Day Plan to ensure every Wildcat is challenged, supported, and ready to succeed.

Attendance Awareness Month – #BeHereNM
September is Attendance Awareness Month in New Mexico schools, and September 29th is BeHereNM Day, a time to highlight the importance of showing up every day for every student.
Consistent attendance is a key factor in academic success. Missing just 2 days a month can add up to significant learning loss over the school year. This month, we are working together to raise awareness, identify barriers, and support students in getting to school on time, every day.
What You Can Do:
Students: Make a goal to attend every day and ask for help if you’re struggling.
Families: Set routines, schedule appointments outside school hours, and stay engaged.
Staff: Encourage, support, and recognize good attendance in classrooms.
Let’s work together to make sure all students feel welcome, supported, and motivated to attend—because every day in school matters.
