As our much-needed Thanksgiving Break comes to a close and we prepare to finish the semester strong, I want to take a moment to say thank you. We are so grateful for your partnership, support, and the encouragement you give our students and staff each day. It truly takes all of us working together, and we feel blessed to be part of this community.
The next three weeks will move quickly as we wrap up learning, assessments, and end-of-semester activities. During this time, our teachers will focus on key skills like strong writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving across all subjects. Students will be encouraged to write clear, thoughtful responses and explain their thinking in their work.
Please pay special attention to our state Mid-Year Assessment (MOY iMSSA), scheduled for Wednesday, December 3rd (all day) and Thursday, December 4th (morning only). It is extremely important that all students are present for these assessments and that families avoid checking students out during testing times. Students need to arrive on time and have their Chromebooks fully charged. Our goal with this assessment is to see how much students have grown since the Beginning-of-Year (BOY) assessment and to identify areas where we can focus our support moving forward.
